what do i do with this?

So about two weeks ago my mom was talking to her mom (my grandma obviously) about this guy she was sort of dating. (for those of you who don't know my grandpa died at the end of freshman year) the whole time i was listening to the conversation all i could think was i bet grandma gets married, how weird would that be?.....wellll one week later I'm at DQ helping customers and my family comes in and orders dinner and my dad asks if i'm going to take my break and sit with them, which i've done before so i said yes. I got my rootbeer float, sat down with them and my dad says "want to know something weird?"
me "what?"
dad,mom,kait and em in unison "grandmas getting married!"
me: "what?!"
which okay, i can deal with this, shes lonely i can understand that, they'll get married later this year, like a lot later...at first my mom said grandma wants to get married before i leave for school...what? btw thats a month from today! (the 28th/29th) but she changed her mind because my aunt is having a baby in like 10 days.

oh yah and i'm trying to get all my stuff together and buy anything that i don't have for school..plus the whole freaking out because i'll be so far away from home and barely know the people i do know at BYU. and working like 5 jobs...life is good, when will this month end?

Ode to Harry Potter

I'm sooo tired! I finished Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows this moring at 7 after reading it from 8:30 Saturday morning, yup I stayed up all night. It is soooo good! It was weird doing nothing but read all day, but it was totally worth it! I went to Borders for the midnight copy and it was really boring and sort of awkward for me, until Janell showed up at like 12:15. (CF was there and TE who i haven't seen since grad night. I've just been working a lot so far this summer and haven't had a whole lot of opportunities to hang out with people.) But Harry Potter was fantastic! I loved everything about it! Its weird though because harry potter has been there since the beginning of middle school all the way through high school, sharing my awkward stages, its like we survived these years together. Not that i ever had to duel my greatest enemy or anything, but i liked being able to relate to Harry because we were pretty much the same age. But now my love affair with Harry Potter is over and I need to "grow up" (but that probably wont happen for a long time).
